The Foundation Prof. Dr.Vancho Chifliganec was founded on December 15th, 2014 by Adora Engineering, as the crown of its corporate social responsibility and a continuation of the longstanding philanthropic tradition of Vancho Cifliganec Ph.D. The mission of the foundation is to support and promote the development of education, science, sports, culture, arts, humanitarian and other activities to contribute to building a better and healthier society, a happier and more equal world, with equal opportunities for all. Throughout its 18 years of existence, Adora Engineering has invested a lot of effort, love and resources in community support, amounting to approximately € 5 million.
For the implemented socially beneficial projects, Adora Engineering reports every year to the UN Global Compact, with a public release on the website of this largest global association of socially responsible companies in the world, in which Adora has been an active member since April 2012.
Vancho Chifliganec’s philanthropy stems from the humanity and solidarity that filled his humble family home in his native village Raklish, near Radovish, continues through the support he received for his education and professional development and then growing into a corporate habit, a trademark, a business code of ethics of the real estate development company Adora Engineering.
The motto that a person and a company do not exist only for themselves and their environment; that everyone should help others within their abilities; everyone should give back to the community and share success with it, were the guiding principles of Adora Engineering and the Foundation Prof. Dr. Vancho Chifliganec in the realization of many projects of common interest.
Showing that humanity knows no bounds or borders, Adora Business Group and the Foundation prof. Dr. Vanco Chifliganec as the main partner with the Novak Djokovic Foundation, in 2021 built a new, fully equipped, modern kindergarten in the village of Ljubis, Serbia. The kindergarten located near the tourist mountain center Zlatibor and the new complex under construction 21st Century Residence, Spa & Wellness by Adora, offers preschool children education and development in a safe, adequate and creative environment. The project, which is part of the mission to create conditions for preventing emigration from rural areas in Serbia, was implemented in order for the international brand Adora to improve the quality of life of the local population in areas where the company has business investments.
The company invests in children's hospitals in Skopje, Radovish and Strumica, repairing the dilapidated roof of Zlatan Sremec Special Primary School in Skopje where 100 pupils attend classes; children's homes, kindergartens and schools have been furnished and assistance has been provided. The Orthodox Church of St. Jovan Krstitel(St. John the Baptist) in Skopje was built, the fountain in the park in Kisela Voda, the clock towers in Gjorche Petrov and Strumica, the monument Catcher of the Cross in Ohrid, which is an homage to Epiphany Day
Five national awards have been received from the Ministry of Economy for investing in the community. A number of scholarships have been awarded to pupils, students, customers and workers to support their continuing education, and the first Adora Engineering Academy certified in Dream Creation Campaign, Autocad Training and ED Max Autodesk Training have been organized and supported.
In support of sports, since 2013 Adora has been continuously supporting Dimitar Gjorgjiev, the three-time world and European kickboxing champion who, under the auspices of the foundation, founded the Kickboxing Club Rabotnicki Adora and opened a modern equipped kickboxing training center, one of the best in the Balkans.
In the field of culture, for two years we were the main sponsor of the renowned international event Ohrid Summer Festival and the general sponsor of the first solo concert of pop singer Tamara Todevska, and we have supported the publication and printing of many books and publications. In the fight against famine and poverty, since 2014 we have distributed several thousand hot meals to the homeless in Skopje, and in support of those who have suffered a loss of their home, we have built a new home for the Trajkovi family in Dedino, Konce, on the site of the burnt down family house. To welfare recipients from Ohrid and Debrca, we have distributed 200 food and hygiene packages.
With prizes such as cars, trips, valuable gifts, kitchens, home furnishings, university education, Christmas trees and New Year's gift packets, Adora’s customers always get the added value and a slice of happiness with their new home.
Respecting the principles of the Global Compact and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, we have embraced the challenges of the new era of securing a sustainable future worldwide. In 2019, the company received the UN award as a flagship company in achieving the goals of sustainable development at national level.
