Adora Engineering DOOEL Skopje is in no way involved in the operation of production and delivery of thermal energy in the city of Skopje and has no influence and control over its quality. After the reactions of citizens regarding the quality of the delivery of thermal energy in the city of Skopje, we want to inform the public that Adora Engineering has no competencies and role in the production and delivery of thermal energy, and thus in the present situation. In fact, although Adora Engineering bought the heating plants Istok and Zapad at a public auction, currently the licensed producer of heat in the capital is Heat Production - Balkan Energy DOOEL Skopje (BEG).
BEG AD Skopje operates and is responsible for quality production and delivery of thermal energy in the city of Skopje. The licensed companies that supply the city of Skopje with heat are the companies from the group BEG AD Skopje, which is the only legal entity that manages the production, distribution and supply of heat in the capital.
We want to emphasize that at this moment, Adora Engineering and BEG have not established any partnership. In September 2021, Adora Engineering bought from Toplifikacija AD in bankruptcy, the heating plants Istok and Zapas and the basic means for production of thermal energy. To date, these fixed assets have not been transferred to Adora Engineering and are managed by Heat Production Balkan Energy DOOEL, a subsidiary of the group BEG AD Skopje.
Until now, BEG has not established a partnership relationship for the heating plants with Adora Engineering, although the law is decisive that the purchase of bankrupt property imposes new partnership agreements with the new owner, Adora Engineering.
The production of heat is a regulated activity for the public good of citizens, where one of the basic conditions for obtaining a license for production of heat is to own the heating plants and the basic means for production of heat or to have a lease agreement.
Adora Engineering expects legal protection from the state institutions in order to resolve the current and future partnership relations with the user of the heating plants and the competent institutions of the state, under whose jurisdiction this regulated activity is, respecting all legal regulations which will enable protection of the invested domestic capital, preservation of the public interest and improvement of the conditions towards for the users.
Adora Engineering hopes that the situation will be resolved in a timely manner, in the interest of the public good and the citizens.
