Dragana D. Chifliganec, Ph.D last night in Belgrade received the prestigious international award Lady of the Year for innovation in housing and philanthropy. At the 12th annual event in the Belexpo center, for selection of ladies and gentlemen of the year, outstanding women and men of the public, economic and social sector from Serbia and Europe, among which Ivica Dachich, Serbia’s vice-president and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The executive director of Adora Engineering at the ceremony was presented as a strong and successful young woman, firmly established in the “male business of building construction” for 15 years, well known for her diligence, perseverance, her pioneering efforts for introducing a new concept of a higher quality humane housing, based on global standards and latest trends, a philanthropist, a strong gender equality and women’s rights lobbyist and a proven socially responsible activist.
Dragana stated that this is a great recognition for her and Macedonia, and as the only winner this year from our country, she is even more encouraged to continue working dedicatedly on introducing innovations in housing and working on humanitarian projects to support individuals and the community. The award given on 8th March, Dragana Chifliganec dedictated to all strong women for which the famous Nobel laureate Ivo Andrich has written “The woman stands as a gate, at the exit and entrance to this world”.
Dragana D. Chifliganec, Ph.D has received many international and national recognitions and awards among which are 40 under 40 in 2019 in Amsterdam for leading small business leaders in Southeast Europe; Manager of the Year in 2012 in Macedonia and Lady in Construction in 2014 at the Fair of Construction and Real Estate Development.
