ADORA HOMES SAVE ENERGY AND MONEY IN AN ENERGY CRISIS

At the height of the energy crisis, when there is an appeal for saving on a global level, the homes built by the Adora brand stand out for their savings in energy for heating, low bills for central heating and consumed electricity. It is due to the A class energy-efficient buildings, which Adora as a pioneer, the first in the region, started to build in 2006, when there was no obligation or legal regulation to do so.

Adora was the first in Macedonia to receive an energy certificate (energy passport) issued by a licensed company, for the first built energy-efficient residential building in Skopje of the highest A class, in 2014. The construction of economical, energy-efficient homes is a long-term project of Adora, perfecting and improving with each new building, using the latest materials, standards and technologies. The high energy efficiency is the result of the excellent facade, roof and floor thermal insulation of the buildings, placing an organic facade and using renewable energy sources with photovoltaics, which Adora was the first to introduce in the collective housing in Macedonia.

The saved energy for heating and cooling results in a significant reduction in bills for consumed electricity compared to before and low bills for central city heating, which for an average Adora apartment of 50 m² is about 1,000 denars per month. In times of energy and economic crisis, this is of exceptional importance for citizens, which results in more money saved in the domestic budget.

Adora is the winner of 9 national awards from the Ministry of Economy of Macedonia for the long-term construction of green, eco homes, for a healthier future and environmental protection, it was recognized as the most ecological company from the City of Skopje and as a leader in achieving the goals for sustainable development from the United Nations Organization. According to the Association of Licensed Energy Controllers in Macedonia, this attitude of the construction brand Adora speaks of a high awareness not only of the comfort of living, but also of reducing energy needs and environmental pollution, which, according to the association, is a positive example for all companies.
