In the most difficult times, we made brave decisions. Dushko Chifliganec from Adora with an impressive performance at the forum in Skopje organized by the most prestigious economic magazine

“Construction and real estate development was, is and in the future will be our primary business love and passion, which despite business diversification in the field of finance, banking and energy, remains an essential code of our business DNA. The great injustice with the selective moratorium towards Adora by individual local authorities in Skopje, for the past 5 years, has completely stopped the planned investments in high-rise construction in our homeland. That directed our projects from the real estate development sector to neighboring Serbia and Greece. The satisfaction we saw among customers in these projects corresponded to the satisfaction we have been seeing from customers in Macedonia for 21 years, which is the most important thing for Adora.” – said Dushko Chifliganec, vice president of Adora Business Group, at the panel discussion “The World in 2024 – Research on Trade Trends, Challenges and Opportunities”, organized in Skopje by the prestigious British magazine The Economist, the most respected print media in the field of economics in the world.

“Entering into the energy domain, through the purchase of the property of the former Toplifikacija AD in bankruptcy, was motivated by the opportunities we saw for progress, innovation and modernization of this sector and the desire to have this strategic activity in our capital in the hands of a home equity company. From this standpoint, I evaluate this investment of Adora as quite solid, seen from the perspective of the users, the business that was in bankruptcy, is now stabilized, functional and operational. The citizens of Skopje have a stable and high-quality supply of thermal energy, the planned business plan is being implemented, we have good cooperation with the operator ESM, and the most important thing Is that the activity is in the hands of a reputable, respectable domestic company, which will never allow this activity to be put in an unpleasant situation as before.” – assessed Cifliganec for the expansion of Adora’s activity in the energy sector.

“I believe there are two types of businessmen, those for whom the imperative is always profit, focused on maximizing earnings, and others who are focused on the ingenuity of their product service, on creating a sense of added value for their customers, and most importantly, who make efforts to improve the society in which they operate and the environment in which they find themselves. At Adora we really try hard to be innovative, to be pioneers, to be proactive. We always try to make our product evolve over the years, drastically improving seismic stability, energy efficiency, sound insulation and other housing attributes, creating storytelling real estate with a strong emphasis on the unique design of the exterior and interior, with premium comfort and ambience. Finally, with the project in Serbia 21st Century Zlatibor, we offered our clients real estate with a business concept that offers return on investment, supplemented with all contents for rest and relaxation with 5 *. In Adora, we have a corporate philosophy, that we have to run continuously, if we want to stay in the same place.” – pointed out Dushko Chifliganec, adding that philanthropy, social responsibility and helping others is a deep-rooted corporate habit and tradition of the Chifliganec family, which wants to help sincerely and from the heart, feeling even happier when they give something to someone than when they have to take what they have rightfully earned.

“In Adora, we have plans related to real estate development on the European and world stage, but I would not reveal them, they are still in the development phase. In the future, it is crucial to rely on our experience, which has proven to be a solid and stable foundation, complemented by innovative, pioneering solutions. To filter the good from the bad trends in the future, to focus on affirmative development and measurable real progress. The most important thing of all is to stay focused, to follow closely the business development in this globalized world and all the parameters on which our businesses depend, and to adapt as investors.” – said Dushko Chifliganec, who has an article in the latest issue of the business magazine Economist in the Macedonian language, which has been published regularly for over 180 years.
