Under the motto “We are aware”, Adora Business Group joined Pink October, the month dedicated to raising awareness among women, for a common fight against breast cancer, through free preventive examinations.
“With an appeal especially to young people, but also to women of all generations, to be examined regularly, because the disease does not recognize age, we wanted to make a concrete contribution to the care of women’s health, to support each other and to fight together breast cancer.” -Dragana D. Cifliganec, PhD, executive director of Adora, who also on this occasion expressed regret for her colleague Bibi Veselinova, who at the age of 32, shortly after giving birth, in 2018, lost her battle with cancer, but is still present in spirit and remembered among her colleagues by her smile and cheerful spirit.
The ladies of Adora, who fully participated in the action “In memory of Bibi”, call on all women, as well as the competent institutions, to engage more actively in the prevention and early detection of breast cancer, as the most common malignant disease and the leading cause of death among women in the world and in Macedonia.
